Beautemer/Stemologica

On Friday, December 4, 2015 I received a response from Beautemer that sounded like a threat. Dear Ann, We are willing to offer a partial refund, as a goodwill gesture of CAD 80.00 per product (Total of CAD 160.00 as a huge compromise and a compliment from our company for the caused inconvenience, which is clearly dependent on your accepting all of our terms, without any reservations, namely: However, since we are extending a goodwill gesture, our offer constitutes a major exception and is CONDITIONAL. By accepting our offer, you agree 1. to NOT seek further compensation from us; 2. to NOT dispute any of the charges with your bank; 3. you confirm you understand we have not contractually bound you to receive the products on a recurring basis. If you, on the other hand, decide to go ahead with the dispute, you will have inadvertently lost the chance to be refunded partially, since your account with be 'frozen', technically speaking, and we will have to simply wait on your bank's final deliberation. Since we end up winning 99.9 % of all disputes, you will also have no means of recouping the original amount. Your account is fully cancelled, and you shall no longer receive any products from us, unless you explicitly contact us to request otherwise. Kindly let us know how you wish to proceed, finally. Kind regards, Ezra, Customer Satisfaction Specialist, Beautemer, www.24kbeaute.com

I should had read the complaints before I got this product. Never again will I buy anything this company has. Will I ever get my refund?

I saw on my credit statement that I had extra charges . I had no idea why and phoned up the banks customer service . They told me it was a scam . They cancel my credit card . They also told me to email the company and tell them I am canceling my subscription and give them the last 4 numbers of my credit card number and save the draft . I did get a answer they told me it is canceled I well not get a refund and I also look up the company's return policy I have 30 days to return my product .I remained them of there return policy and I well contact the better business bureau if necessary Also when returning product some one at the company must sign for it so I know that they have received it .

Sharp practices by Beautemer and Stemelogica.

Having being conned by an bogus offer from an implied trusted supplier (M&S) I sent away for these products on a P&P only basis. being away from home when the packaging turned up I didn't get to read the small print about having a continuing supply. When I cancelled the direct debits via my banks fraud department Beautemer agreed to refund most of my money. Only problem is that Stemelocica refused to refund their share as the "packaging was not in its original condition" even though it was in the same packaging as the Beautemer product who agreed that the packaging was all correct. Won't get anywhere with Beautemer but I will enjoy giving them some grief via my banks fraud department and getting a solicitor involved. B

Buyer beware!

I opened my Visa bill & was horrified to see two charges for $186, I almost fainted. I was receiving parcel after parcel in my mailbox of these products that I did not order. There was only a packing slip, but no prices were mentioned. I called the support line & was told that as I didn't tick a square to say I didn't want any more deliveries they keep on sending & charging this outrageous price. I do not remember ordering any of this, I use OIL OF OLAY & am 100% satisfied with it & would never have ordered this stuff.

I got scammed just like most of your stories. Their profit is from charging $190. to credit cards without product. What kind of company runs their business by stealing. I only wish that I had read these reviews before ordering. Although I ordered by phone, they said I checked off the conditions and terms of the agreement. When I received my free trial, there were no papers explaining their conditions. When I phoned to order, they said I was told all the conditions. I was not. If they would have told me "14 days or you will be charged" there is no way I would have continued my order.

Beware Stemologica & Beautemer

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Offered choice of free gifts for completing online Virgin Media questionnaire. Everything was out of stock with the exception of Stemologica kit inc skin serum Beautemer. No mention of 14 day trial offer - they obtained my account details because of the nominal p&p charges. They withdrew £97.95 for the Stemologica & £99.95 for the skin serum. To add insult to injury they attempted to withdraw further sums a month later, under the guise of auto renewal! but I reported the transaction as fraudulent when i saw it in pending transactions, so although it has been deducted from my account I am hopeful that I will get the money back. I have commenced an email battle of words with these thieves, but the contention at the moment is that I am told that I would have agreed to terms and conditions etc...I contend that the online screen I completed had nothing about the goods being part of a 14day trial and I might have been alerted had I been prompted to agree terms and conditions. I would be happy to join any joint application to challenge these charletons in court.

this is so similar to what happened to me. I cannot remember where I saw this product, Both my wife and I thought it was a promotion within Costco.

Having spoken with Costco they have assured me that they have had no dealings with this company.

I am normally extra vigilant about possible scams but this one seems to have got through.

Have informed bank and emailed company. Suppose nest step is to get Anne Robinson and Watchdog onto it

Beautemer 24k Gold serum scam

I returned the 2nd Beautemer 24k Gold Serum as I never requested a repeat order (after trying out the trial order), but Beautemer.com does not want to give me a full refund, saying that I had to return the parcel (unopened) to them. Something I was not made aware of nor was provided with a return form/label to request a refund. Following is their reply. These people need to be STOPPED. They owe me pounds sterling 79.98: Thank you for your prompt response. We do not want to cause you any inconvenience with this, this is why we have offered you the partial refund. As our goal is to provide a consistently reliable products and an exemplary level of customer service. Furthermore, the plausible reason why your product is indicated as bad is because it has to be completely unsealed/unopened in its original package as you have received in the first place. In that case the best we can do to resolve this matter hastily and effectively is to offer you the highest partial refund we are able to give you, I am more than happy to grant you with the amount of GBP 30.00 However, since we are extending a goodwill gesture, our offer constitutes a major exception and is CONDITIONAL. By accepting our offer, you agree: 1.) to NOT seek further compensation from us; 2.) to NOT dispute any of the charges with your bank; 3.) you confirm you understand we have not contractually bound you to receive the products on a recurring basis. Kindly let us know how you wish to proceed, finally. Your account is fully cancelled, and you shall no longer receive any product from us, unless you explicitly contact us to request otherwise.

Beautemer and Stemologica Method of selling

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The method used to sell these products is all wrong. I was rather *** in falling for this method of selling. When products arrived I was charged FOUR lots of postage £1.95,£1.95,£3.99,£3.95, yet received the products all in one parcel. Then I was charged £99.98 for Beautemer and£97.95 for stemologic. The Beautemer product which I tried because I as unaware of how much it was going to cost me did my skin a lot of HARM it is all tight and red and very very sore. I went into your website and cancelled any future orders because I realised I had fallen for a complete SCAM and hoping no further products would be sent to me charged to my credit card.

Scammed with a free gift attached to a bogus isp survey.

After closing an email session and logging out a pop up posing as a customer satisfaction survey from my isp (tiscali.co.uk) appeared inviting me to complete the survey and receive a free gift of stemolgica and beautemer skin care products. I completed the survey and was asked to pay for the delivery charge for my free gifts using a credit card, which I stupidly did. In my defense the bogus survey had my isp logo and address and looked for all the world to be genuine. It is not BE WARNED. 14 days after receiving my "free gift" my credit card was billed for two amounts of £97 & £99. I contacted my credit card company to challenge the charges and put a stop to future payments being taken. My card company has advised I return the products with a covering letter for each product to cancel the bogus "agreement" and then my card company will attempt to reclaim funds taken. Proof of postage is required by the card company, which you can get by posting from a post office counter. Beware folks. Hope this helps.

Beautemer/Walgreens scam

In early February, I received a survey from Walgreen's that promised a gift card or special offer if I completed it. Because the offer appeared to come through your company, I (wrongly) assumed that the special offer of a trial sample of Beautemer skincare products for the cost of shipping was straightforward. Instead, it turned out to be one of those automatic opt-in systems. In the end, Beautemer has bilked me for $509.78 total and is, of course, resisting refunding any of the money. Had I realized that the offer came from Beautemer rather than Walgreen's I would never have taken it. I certainly would have read the "Terms and Conditions" closely. Walgreen's is allowing this sleazy company to ruin its reputation.

Stemologica - complete rip off company - no customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I read reviews in the Daily Mail about this supposedly cream. I went on line and sent for the 3 jars as a trial for £3.99. I also received a bottle of beautemer which I was charged for separately. Smelt a rat and then discovered I was in an auto refill contract - paying £99.99 a month. E mails to them bounced back and managed to get customer services who promised to send me e-mails cancelling. Never got any. Cancelled my card and sent items back for refund - No chance. Fraudulent company which needs to be caught.

THEY WILL CHARGE YR ACCT $159.98 FOR PRODUCT WITHIN 15 DAYS.

BUYER BEWARE! THIS COMPANY IS DISHONEST AND DEVIOUS. THEY OFFER YOU A SAMPLE FOR $4.98, BUT ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION THEY KEEP SENDING YOU PRODUCTS YOU DID NOT ORDER AND THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BANK INFORMATION. >>THEY CLAIM THAT SOMEWHERE ON THEIR WEBPAGE THEY SAY IT IS A TRIAL FOR 14 DAYS AND IF YOU DON'T RETURN THE PRODUCT WITHIN 14 DAYS WITH PROOF THAT YOU SHIPPED IT, THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. THEY WILL KEEP SENDING YOU PRODUCTS UNTIL YOU TELL YOUR BANK TO REFUSE ANY CHARGES FROM THEM. IT WILL SAY "BEUTEMER.COM" ON YOUR BANK STATEMENT. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED?
